TECHO Regional Meeting: We Returned to Where It All Began

During an intense week in Santiago, Chile, we returned to the place where TECHO was founded 28 years ago. The TECHO Regional Meeting TECHO ERT) once again brought together the heads of our operations in the 18 countries where we work, along with the team from the international office.

ㅤㅤ

The goal? To come together, strengthen our identity, and renew our commitment to the cause that unites us.

On the Path to Vision 2030

This ERT was a process of reflection and strategic planning toward our Vision 2030, in which we aim to “be an organization that has transformed the quality of life for 1 million people who no longer live on dirt floors in Latin America and the Caribbean through the mobilization of 2 million volunteers.”

ㅤㅤ

To this end, we generate key conversations and design concrete strategies based on external experiences that inspire us to go further.

Take action, always

We kicked off the gathering with our feet on the ground and our hands on the job, building four homes in Melipilla, Santiago. The plan was to start where our work finds its purpose: on-the-ground action.

ㅤㅤ

The Home of the Future, Today

We explore how to design, implement, and scale new housing models; how to coexist with diverse housing solutions; and how to create experiences that appeal to new generations.

Partnerships That Transform

The event was attended by various special guests, ranging from members of our board of directors to alumni, corporate partners, and experts in urban issues.
