Model of work

#1: Home

We decide which settlements we will work in based on an assessment of the areas or territorial units, as well as on our visits and direct dialogue with the residents of the settlements.

#2: Working Groups

These are ongoing forums where TECHO volunteers TECHO residents of the settlement reflect on and make decisions regarding the neighborhood’s interests, with the goal of designing an action plan that strengthens community capacities and addresses housing and living conditions issues.

#3: Action

These initiatives foster connections between residents and volunteers through participatory and organized efforts. This is where community centers, paved streets, vocational training courses, emergency housing, and all the proposed programs become a reality.

#4: Evaluation

After all the work has been done, the evaluation provides insight into the progress and results of the collaborative effort, allowing us to decide whether to continue or conclude our work with the community.

Join us, too!

None of this would be possible without the active and ongoing participation of volunteers, donors, partners, and, of course, the communities in the settlements.
