In July, TECHO a historic milestone: the construction of its 150,000th home in Latin America and the Caribbean. More than just a number, this achievement represents 150,000 stories of transformation. This regional campaign marked a turning point and renewed our commitment to Vision 2030: to ensure that one million people no longer live on a dirt floor
We have reached the milestone of 150,000 homes built in Latin America and the Caribbean. But this milestone is more than just a number. It represents 150,000 stories of transformation. More than 675,000 people no longer live on dirt floors and have begun a new chapter in a safe place to call home—a space from which to build opportunities, connections, protection, and a future.

What happened during the campaign?
- We're launching a regional video that reminds us why we do what we do— what TECHO is, at its core.
- We symbolically built the 150,000th home in 14 countries across the region. In this video, you can see how this milestone was achieved on the ground.
- We highlight the impact of emergency housing through content like this post.
- We wrapped up with an event broadcast live from Paraguay, where we inaugurated the 150,000th home together with the community. If you weren't able to watch it live, you can watch the livestream here.
This achievement is not an endpoint. It is a turning point. It marks a renewal of our collective commitment to TECHO Vision 2030: to ensure that 1 million people in Latin America and the Caribbean no longer live on dirt floors.

We know there is still much to be done, and that we will only succeed by working together—on the ground—with communities, volunteers, partners, and everyone who believes in a more just continent.
Thank you for being part of this shared dream. We're still building.
